Entrepreneurship education

North Ostrobothnia Entrepreneurship Education Network

The aim of the North Ostrobothnia Entrepreneurship Education Network is to build a framework for cooperation, serve as a platform for development activities and bring together actors and people working on the theme.

The cooperation will diversify the knowledge of educational institutions, teaching staff and students about the region’s industries and the future skills needs of companies. It will ensure that future talents have the necessary knowledge and skills for working life and entrepreneurship in North Ostrobothnia. The network’s activities promote an entrepreneurial attitude in working life.

  • The City of Oulu’s Työn Taitajat (i.e. BusinessOulu and Education and Cultural Services together) coordinates the North Ostrobothnia Entrepreneurship Education Network. The different actors in the network are involved in the development of the network and the implementation of the measures in a joint responsibility.

  • The network is open to representatives of all kinds of organisations and businesses that find entrepreneurship education and promotion important.

  • Those involved in the network participate in the way and with the time that suits them best. Participation in specific actions is always agreed separately. For example, you can facilitate a company visit, be a speaker on a chosen topic, co-create, and share good practices and results.

  • Participation in the network is free of charge.

  • The regional network meets 4-5 times (live or remotely) per school year to network, share good practices and learn new things. In addition to joint meetings, the regional network encourages local cooperation.

The next meeting will take place in April 2024.

    Location: Centria Ammattikorkeakoulu, Ylivieska.
Theme: Company cooperation and RDI cooperation as part of entrepreneurship education
    Remote participation is also possible.

  • By joining the network, you will automatically receive an invitation to the next meeting. You can sign up to the renewed North Ostrobothnia Entrepreneurship Education Network as an individual or an organisation.
