BusinessOulu and the City of Oulu’s Education and Cultural Services develop networking between educational institutions and businesses. The aim is to strengthen the working life and entrepreneurship education of educational institutions. At the same time, the skills needs of businesses now and in the future will be better met.
The City of Oulu’s strategic goal is to be the most business-friendly international growth centre in Finland. This goal is pursued through cooperation, which is also linked to the activities of the Oulu Innovation Alliance (OIA). OIA’s programme includes support for start-up entrepreneurship, continuous learning and business ecosystems. The aim is business growth and matching the skills needs of businesses with skilled human resources.
