Work trial

Your company can organise a work trial for a job seeker for 1-6 months. This is for young people who are still looking for a career or for job seekers who have been out of the labour market for a long time and are returning to work. The aim of the trial is to help the job seeker to find a job. After the trial, you may be able to hire the trial trainee to work for your company with a wage subsidy.

The person participating in the work trial is not employed by the company. The company does not pay the trainee a wage, but the trainee usually receives unemployment benefit for the duration of the work trial. The work trial is a free service for the employer.
