Helping you set up your business

  • The Starttiraha start-up grant is a discretionary grant for a start-up entrepreneur for up to 12 months. It is intended to support livelihoods in the early stages of a full-time business when the income from the business is still low. The start-up grant is applied for by submitting an online application to the employment services. The application is filled in at Job Market Finland.

  • At Yritystulkki database you will find guides, workbooks and calculation software for business, marketing, and financial planning for both new and established businesses. The database includes a wide range of forms for business, administration, labour relations and government, as well as contract templates for everyday business situations. Forms in English are also available. The Yritystulkki database is suitable for both start-up and established entrepreneurs and is used for teaching purposes in a number of vocational colleges and universities.

  • Yritys-Suomi (Enterprise Finland) is a nationwide online service run by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment that provides information, services and tools for businesses and start-ups. Information is available on topics such as securing a livelihood, business planning, financing, taxation, and start-up activities. The website also offers an entrepreneurial test to test your readiness to become an entrepreneur.
